KASSANDRA C. GROGAN is the First Lady of New Life Kingdom Ministries (NLKM) in Baltimore, Maryland. She works diligently in the service of the Lord with her husband, Pastor Nathaniel D. Grogan.  Together, they are the proud parents of three sons: Emmanuel (15), Patrick (14) and Nehemiah (6). Ministry is a family affair, for all of their sons are active leaders/participants in the worship experience.    

Lady Grogan left the only home she knew at the age of 17 to further her education, attending Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. Majoring in Broadcast Journalism, she graduated with honors (cum laude) in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Communications Management in 2001 from Towson University. 

Accepting an invitation to visit the church of a college friend one Sunday in 1998, Lady K visited Payne Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church, under the dynamic leadership of the first female (A.M.E.) Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie. In February 1999, she rededicated her life to Christ and again became a servant – serving and offering her expertise in areas to include the Communication & Public Relations Ministry, Evangelism Ministry, Media Ministry, Women’s Ministry and Youth & Young Adult Ministry.

After more than 10 years of active membership, Lady Grogan ended this chapter to eagerly turn the page of life with her husband as they founded New Life Kingdom Ministries (non-denominational), opening the doors of the church on Resurrection Sunday in 2008.  Humbly accepting her role as First Lady, she founded the R.U.B.I.E.S. (Realizing the Underlying Beauty In Each Sister) Women’s Ministry at NLKM. Together with Pastor Grogan, they also founded Kingdomfest Conference, a subsidiary of NLKM, which launched its first series in the Fall of 2010.

In addition to full-time employment as the Special Assistant to the Vice President for Finance and Management at her first alma mater (Fair Morgan), Lady Grogan serves as the church administrator. Her various duties and responsibilities include maintaining the church calendar, managing Pastor Grogan’s itinerary, as well as developing, designing and updating the church website. She also creates and prints the weekly church program which is different each Sunday. She believes in doing everything in excellence!

Aside from being a wife, mother, and daughter, Lady K is also a talented graphic designer, editor, and owner of KCG Designs. After struggling with her life’s purpose, she realized that God has called her to a higher place of service. Lady Grogan is a firm believer that you “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” (Philippians 2:3-4)
